Men's Tennis Ends Appearance At NCAAs

PALO ALTO, Calif. -- Harel Srugo and Alex Seleznev saw their run end on Thursday evening at the 2006 NCAA Men's Tennis Tournament.
Srugo, who advanced to the second round of singles fell to Clement Reix of Clemson, 6-3, 6-4. Reix was ranked 30th in the country entering tournament action. Srugo meanwhile ends his first season with the Monarchs with a 28-7 overall mark.
Later in the day Srugo teammed with doubles partner Seleznev in the first round of doubles action. In the round of 32, the Monarch duo fell to #13 Markus Dickhardt and Benedikt Stronk of San Diego State, 7-6(3), 6-3. Srugo and Seleznev combined for an 18-4 mark in 2006.
