NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Old Dominion men’s tennis team begins their fall season this weekend at the inaugural edition of the Ivy Plus Invitational hosted by Yale University.  The action begins Friday at Yale's home courts and play will continue into Saturday and Sunday.

A contingent of select schools will be competing in the Ivy Plus Invitational, a new event on the fall calendar.  In addition to Old Dominion and Yale, these schools are Army, Binghamton, Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Marist, Penn, St. John's and UNC Wilmington. Due to the quality of the competition and the many inter-school rivalries encompassed by this lineup, this weekend's event promises to be an exciting one.

The Monarchs sent five guys to the first ever Ivy Plus Invitational: No. 59 Carlos Lopez Villa, Jonas Kuwert, Zvonimir Podvinski, Dante Terenzio and Koen Wiggernman.
