Construction began on Monday, May 19 for Old Dominion University's new baseball indoor hitting complex.  The facility, located down the left side of the Bud Metheny Baseball Complex  will be named in honor of the late Paul Keyes,  former ODU baseball standout ('84) and VCU Head Baseball Coach.

The 4,500 square-foot, heated facility will include two netted hitting cages, feature eight roll up doors and New Generation artificial turf. Expected completion of the complex is Oct. 1.
