Moye Earns All CAA Honors

, MANTEO, NC.-- Old Dominion University freshman centerfielder, Matt Moye (Beaver Falls, Pa.) was selected second team All-CAA by the conference coaches Monday. The 6-2, 190-pounder hit .351 in CAA league games and was second on the team with an overall .287 batting average with three homers and 23 runs batted in.

Virginia Commonwealth's Matt Davis was named the CAA's Player of the Year, and Defensive Player of the year, while the Rams Sean Marshall was the CAA's Rookie of the Year, and East Carolina's Keith LeClair was named the Coach of the Year.

The Monarchs open the CAA Championships Tuesday at 3:00 against James Madison. All games will be played at Coy Tillet Field in Manteo, NC. All Monarch games can be heard live on ESPN 1310 radio. All Tournament games can be kept up with by live stats on the CAA Website (
