NORFOLK, VA - ODU Baseball partnered up with the Pi Beta Phi sorority in hosting the first annual Angels in the Outfield Charity Softball Tournament Sunday November 4th, 2012 at the Bud Metheny Baseball Complex. The tournament raised over $1,000 for First Book, a charity dedicated to break the barriers of illiteracy by providing books to underprivileged children.

Proceeds came from team entry fees, generous donations, and the sale of raffle tickets. The tournament had 23 teams signed up with participants from sororities, fraternities, student-athletes, ODU students and others. Congratulations to the Pike Fraternity for wining the first annual Angels in the Outfield Charity Softball Tournament.
