Moye Earns Freshman All-American Honors

NORFOLK, VA.-- Old Dominion University freshman centerfielder, Matt Moye (Beaver Falls, Pa.) was selected by COLLEGIATE BASEBALL newspaper honorable mention All-American.

The 6-2, 196 pounder from Blackhawk High School hit .289 with three homeruns and 24 runs batted in. He hit .397 with runners in scoring position and two outs. In 21 Colonial Athletic Association games, Moye hit .351. He was named second team All-CAA. Moye is the tenth Monarch since 1985 to earn Freshman All-American honors.
