The CAA's toughest ticket has gotten tougher.
With the season's start eight days away, Old Dominion is close to selling out its men's basketball season tickets for the first time.
Just 41 lower-bowl tickets remained Thursday morning, according to Debbie White, senior associate athletics director for public relations and marketing.
If a sellout occurs, the only individual game tickets available would be those unclaimed by students or returned by opposing teams, as well as premium club-level seats not sold in group or season packages.
"We're up in every sales category possible," athletic director Wood Selig said. "The success we've had the last two years has not gone unnoticed."
