CAA Coaches Project 2003-04 Basketball Season

RICHMOND, VA -- The Colonial Athletic Association men's and women's basketball coaches have offered their projections for the 2003-04 basketball season. The George Mason University men and the Old Dominion University women are the early frontrunners according to a poll of the 10 men's and 10 women's coaches. The Monarch men were projected for a sixth place finish. The coaches also selected All-CAA first and second teams.

Among the preseason honorees include Alex Loughton (Perth, Australia) on the men's side on the second team, while on the women's side Monique Coker (Bronx, NY) and Corrina Turner (Miami, FL) picked up first team honors and Shareese Grant (Va. Beach, VA) was named to the second team.
