Ted Alexander Named Director Of Broadcasting For ODU Sports Properties

NORFOLK - CBS Collegiate Sports Properties, the exclusive marketing and multi-media rights partner of Old Dominion University athletics, has announced that Ted Alexander has been named the Director of Broadcasting for Old Dominion University Sports Properties, effective July 1.
Alexander has been radio play-by-play and coaches' show voice for ODU men's basketball since 2007, and football program since 2009. He has served as sports reporter, anchor and producer for WTKR-TV 3 since 2007, and had previously served WTKR as the sports director from 1996-2005. A familiar radio voice in Hampton Roads, Alexander was also heard on WVBW-FM as a weekend host since 2007 and a morning drive host on WWDE from 2005-2006.
While he will continue to serve as the radio voice for ODU men's basketball and football, Alexander will take on production responsibilities for all ODU radio broadcasts, take a lead role in ODU's expanded video content on www.odusports.com and other mediums, serve as the official "Voice of ODU athletics" at all public functions, and assist in sales efforts for revenue generation for ODUSP.
