NORFOLK, Va. - With snow stacked onto the playing surface at the field hockey and lacrosse field and on the football practice fields at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex, the coaching staffs of the three sports and several athletics employees got together to remove the snow so each team could practice.

With the field hockey team about to practice, the football staff led by head coach Bobby Wilder, split up as some shoveled the field hockey/lacrosse field and others went to shovel the football practice field.  Lacrosse Head Coach Heather Holt joined as well as field hockey Head Coach Andrew Griffiths and assistant Natalie Barrett.  Several other athletic employees helped out, including senior associate athletic director, Bruce Stewart, academic advisor, Lori Friel and sport performance coaches, Ryan Martin, Mario Crawford and Joe Makovec
