Jacqueline Yost Will Join US Olympic Team in Meeting President Bush Monday

NORFOLK, VA - Old Dominion assistant swimming coach Jacqueline Yost will meet with President George W. Bush, along with the rest of the U.S. Olympic Team, Monday at the White House.  Yost served as an assistant coach for the swimming team at the Athens Olympics in August.


Jacqueline Yost returns for her second season as the assistant coach for the Old Dominion Swimming Program under head coach Carol Withus. Yost was previously the head coach at Youngstown State University.


Yost served as an assistant coach at American and nationally ranked Texas A&M before taking over the reigns at Youngstown State. While at Youngstown State, Yost's teams improved from a 2-7 record to a 7-4 mark in two seasons.


In 1994 Yost was selected as a United States Masters Swimming All-American, achieving a number one national ranking that season.  Yost graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992 with a degree in history and completed her masters degree in 1998 at American University.
