RICHMOND, Va. -- Swimming and diving's Arni Mar Arnason (Msfellsbaer, Iceland) earned his second Colonial Athetic Association (CAA) Swimmer of the Week honor after helping the Monarchs last week to a pair of victories over Drexel (234-119) and William & Mary (204-149).

Arnason, a member of the 2008 Icelandic Olympic Team, collected three individual and two relay wins taking home victories in the 100 breast, 200 breast and 50 freestyle, as well as with the 200 and 400 medley relay squads.

Arnason broke the Old Dominion 100 breast record for the second time this season with a time of 55.04, surpassing his previous record of 55.63, while his effort in the 200 breast earned him another school record, stopping the clock at 2:03.77. His 50 free time of 20.63 helped him move into second on ODU's all-time list.

The Old Dominion swimming and diving squads return to the pool for the Davidson Invitational. The three-day invite begins on Friday, November 21st.
