Kristin Eden joined the Old Dominion Athletics Academic Services staff in 2016 as an Academic Advisor and Tutor Coordinator. Eden oversees all tutoring efforts for the Monarchs, and advises the Men's Wrestling Team, and Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Teams.
Eden comes to Old Dominion from Tennessee State University, where she served as an Athletic Academic Advisor.
Prior to Tennessee State, Eden worked at Western Kentucky University, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and was the Compliance Coordinator/Senior Woman Administrator for the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA).
While working for the NCAA, Eden was a Post-Graduate Intern, served as a facilitator for the NCAA Division II Leadership Action Academies, and worked for the NCAA Division I College World Series, and Division I Football. She was a member of the NCAA Division II Student-Athlete Reinstatement Committee, and is a current member of the National Association of Academics Advisors for Athletics (N4A).
Eden earned her Bachelor’s Degree in 2000 from Pittsburg State University, a Master's degree from Western Kentucky University in 2013, and is a candidate for an Education Specialist Degree at ODU.
Kristin and her husband, Rick, have two children, Faithe and George.
