Meredith McCall joined the Old Dominion University SAAS staff in 2012 following a three year stint at Western Carolina University. In addition to providing academic support for baseball, Men’s basketball, and the tennis teams, Meredith oversees the department’s Degree Completion Program for former student-athletes.
Prior to joining ODU, Meredith worked as the academic advisor at Western Carolina University. Meredith was responsible for overseeing the advising and eligibility certification for 300+ student-athletes. In addition, she served as a learning specialist (University of Minnesota) and an academic coordinator (Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi).
Meredith is involved in the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics (N4A). Currently she serves on the N4A Legislative committee and the Two-year Colleges committee. In 2014, Meredith participated in the N4A Professional Development Institute-Leader Manager.
The Cheyenne, Wyoming native, was a four-year collegiate letter winner (basketball) and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (Management) from the College of St Scholastica (Duluth, Minnesota) and her Master of Science in Kinesiology (Athletic Administration) from Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
