CAA Honors Vasylius and Lee

NORFOLK, VA--Old Dominion University senior Valdas Vasylius (Klaipeda, Lithuania) was named CAA Player of the Week and ODU freshman center Gerald Lee (Uusikaupunki, Finland) was named CAA Rookie of the Week as ODU defeated Hofstra and Toledo.

Vasylius scored a career high 31 points along with 12 rebounds in the 96-82 win over Hofstra. He then scored 22 points with ten rebounds in ODU's 73-70 ESPN Bracketbusters win at Toledo Saturday night. Vasylius has now performed the double-double three straight games.

The 6-9 Lee scored 13 points with three rebounds against Hofstra, then added seven points on three-for-three shooting at Toledo. Lee was 8 for 10 from the floor in the two games.

ODU (21-7/13-3) hosts Towson Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. which is senior night. ODU will honor Drew Williamson, Arnaud Dahi, Valdas Vasylius and John Morris before the game. This class is the winningest four-year class in ODU history with 90 wins thus far.
