Dahi Named CAA Player Of The Week, VCU Game Sold Out

NORFOLK, VA-- Old Dominion University senior forward Arnaud Dahi (West Coast, Africa) has been named the CAA Player of the Week. The 6-7 Dahi averaged 17.7 points and 10.3 rebounds as Old Dominion (17-7/10-3) was the only CAA team to win all-three games last week.

Dahi posted a double-double in the Monarchs 62-52 win at Drexel with 14 points and a career high 17 rebounds. He had 14 points in just 22 minutes in the home win over Georgia State.

Dahi capped the week off by tallying a season and career high tying 25 points and nine boards in the 66-56 overtime win at George Mason, including the game-tying 3-pointer at the buzzer that forced overtime. Dahi now has 1,252 career points which ranks him 25th on ODU's all-time scoring list. He currently ranks ninth in the CAA in rebounding (6.3), and sixth in free throw percentage (.817).

SOLD OUT: The ODU-VCU game at the Constant Center this Saturday is sold out. The game will be televised by CN8 and carried in Hampton Roads by WSKY TV, channel 4.

Game time is 6 p.m. on Feb. 17 in Toledo, Ohio. ODU and Toledo have met twice before. Toledo defeated the Monarchs, 90-82 in 1995-96 and ODU defeated the Rockets in Norfolk, 65-57 in 1996-97.

The Monarchs travel to Atlanta, GA. to play at Georgia State Wednesday at 7 p.m.
