Old Dominion Travels to Harrisonburg for Monday Showdown Against JMU

Road Monarchs
Monday night will mark the beginning of five straight games away from home for the Monarchs.

All-Time Series
Old Dominion holds a 56-26 advantage in the all-time series against JMU. Last season in Norfolk, ODU defeated the Dukes by a 62-65 score. Old Dominion has claimed victory in nine of the last 11 meetings. 

Last Time Out
The Monarchs are coming off a three-point victory, 57-54, over Towson on Friday night, as the ODU defense would hold the Tigers without a made field goal over an 8:47 span in the second half, which helped propel Old Dominion to victory. 

The Monarchs never trailed in the second half and led by as many as nine with 11:38 to play in the contest. For the game, B.J. Stith paced the Monarchs with 15 points on 7-12 shooting from the floor, while Ahmad Caver finished with 10 points and five rebounds. In his first career collegiate half, Xavier Green led Old Dominion in scoring with seven points and finished with nine. Trey Porter hauled down a team-high seven rebounds in the win.

JMU
James Madison is coming off an 80-50 win over Division III Bridgewater on Friday night. Junior guard Stuckey Mosley racked up 22 points, senior guard Joey McLean went for 14 points and freshman guard Matt Lewis opened his collegiate career with 14 points. The Dukes were picked to place 10th out of 10 teams in the CAA Preseason Poll.
