NORFOLK, Va. --
The Old Dominion women's basketball team returns to action on Saturday to host Charlotte at the Ted Constant Center at 7 p.m.

The game will be streamed on ESPN3 and can be also heard locally on Famous 1310 AM radio. Doug Ripley and Susan Montgomery will provide commentary.

Old Dominion (2-12, 0-1 C-USA) is coming off of a 74-61 loss to UAB in the Conference USA opener on Thursday evening. Victoria Morris led ODU with 19 points and MaKayla Timmons had a career day with 17 points, six rebounds and six assists, but the Blazers connected on 10-of-20 three-point attempts to pull out the victory.

Morris, a true freshman, leads the team in scoring for the season with 12.6 points per game, while redshirt senior forward Odegua Oigbokie is also averaging double figures, including over 15 points and nine rebounds in the last six games.

Both of ODU's wins so far this season have come at home, while Charlotte is just 1-7 away from home this season.

The Monarchs lead the all-time series, 14-6, and are 5-3 against the 49ers in C-USA play.

Charlotte (5-9, 1-0 C-USA) defeated Southern Miss, 66-56, in its C-USA opener on Thursday. The 49ers are led by veteran guard Laia Raventos, who averages a team-high 14.6 points and 4.9 assists per game. The 49ers are just 3-7 in their last 10 games and 1-5 in road games this season.
