Recap| Box Score

Florida International Head Coach Cindy Russo
"It's encouraging that we almost knocked off a team like Old Dominion at home. It was disappointing that we lost. We're lucky we stayed this close."

"We're a very young team. This is the only way to get better, it's going to take time to mold, and we showed a lot of poise. Now we're going to go back and regroup. Things definitely could have been worse."

On returning to Old Dominion:
"It was nice to come here. It would have been more emotional if we played at the Fieldhouse, but I think the (Ted Constant Convocation Center) is a great facility."

Old Dominion Junior Forward Paula Muxiri

"I missed playing. It was fantastic. You have to look for something to focus on and practice hard to win games."

Old Dominion Junior Guard Shareese Grant

"I had to attack the basket and get to the foul line. I was in the zone. Once I hit my first couple of shots, I was feeling it. I kept telling myself to keep shooting."

On Paula Muxiri:
"She works hard to get open, I really notice her presence on the court."

Old Dominion Head Coach Wendy Larry

"I think Florida International is pretty good 2-6 team. Milena Tomova is reminiscent of Inge Nissen."

"Our players are awed by a player like Nissen."
