WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Old Dominion (1-2) lacrosse team travels to American University (1-4) for a non-conference game on Tuesday, March 5 at 3 p.m. The Monarchs are coming off a 14-12 loss to Liberty at home.

In the Monarchs last game, midfielder Sophia Richie scored four goals. The junior leads the team with eight goals. Alongside Richie, Brooke Stein has scored six goals and has a whopping eight assists.

Defensively, goalkeeper Lauren Ey has 24 saves this season. In the Monarchs last game, the junior had 12 saves, her season high.

About American
The Eagles are most recently coming off a loss to UMBC. Offensively, Emma Vinall has 17 goals for her squad. Defensively, they have four goalkeepers that split time. Last game, Fiona Geier had 10 saves and has a season total of 40.

Last Meeting
Last year, the Eagles won by an 11-10 final score in Norfolk. Despite falling last season to the Eagles, ODU owns a 21-5 series advantage over American.
