PITTSBURGH, Pa. — The Atlantic Coast Conference announced today that the Old Dominion University football game at Pittsburgh on Saturday, Oct. 19, will start at 7 p.m. The contest will be broadcast on the ACC RSN, and carried in Hampton Roads by Cox on Channel 11, Roanoke on Cox 9, and Northern Virginia on Cox 74/77.
This will be the fifth time this season that the Monarchs will be on TV. ODU opened the season at East Carolina on Fox College Sports before playing at Maryland on ESPN News. Old Dominion’s home games against The Citadel and Liberty were broadcast by Cox 11 and the Cox Sports TV Network.
“I’m extremely excited that this game will be on the ACC RSN to give the 12th Monarchs another opportunity to watch us play on TV,” ODU Head Coach Bobby Wilder said. “We are excited to play at Pittsburgh, a very good FBS team in front of a big crowd at an NFL venue.”
ODU had a bye this past weekend before traveling to Pittsburgh to take on the Panthers. The Monarchs enter the bye with a 4-2 record and have won four-straight contests.
