NORFOLK, VA--Old Dominion University Athletic Director Jim Jarrett announced today that Mike Jackson has been named Director of Athletic Ticketing.

Jackson comes to ODU after serving as Director of Ticketing for UNLV Athletics the past four years. Prior to Las Vegas, Jackson served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Operations at Wichita State University, a position he held from 2004-05. He also was the Director of Ticket Operations at James Madison University from 2002-04.

After getting his start in the athletics ticketing business at Western Kentucky University, where he served as the ticket manager from 1996-99, he spent 1999-2000 at Saint Louis University as its Director of Ticket Operations.

Jackson earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and physical education from Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio, in 1991 and earned his master's from Kent State University in physical education in 1995.

He replaces Scott Lowery who is relocating to Jacksonville, Fla.
