Nov. 9, 2005 NEW YORK [November 9, 2005] - Monarch and Lady Monarch fans can now log on to keep track of their favorite team and players, thanks to ODU's partnership with CSTV: College Sports Television. ODU and CSTV have teamed up to launch Monarch All-Access, an on-line service that features the most in-depth coverage of ODU sports, including live games streamed through audio and video broadband, special features, highlights, press conferences, coaches shows and much more. Fans can sign up by visiting www.odusports.com Monarch All Access is part of the CSTV All Access Network, which features games from more than 90 schools, drawing from 13 different conferences. This winter, ODU fans can log on to Monarch All-Access to watch ODU home men's and women's basketball games streamed live via video broadband in addition to coverage of other ODU sports action through CSTV's GameTracker Live module. Fans can also log on to listen to the weekly ODU basketball radio call-in shows on ESPN Radio 1310 AM. The men's show, featuring head coach Blaine Taylor, airs on Mondays from 5-6 p.m., while the women's show, featuring Coach Wendy Larry, airs on Tuesdays from 5-6 p.m. A new addition to the All Access package this year is same-night video casts of the post-game news media press conference, featuring the coaches and players from both teams. "We are very excited about our expanded program offerings via the internet this season," said Senior Associate Athletic Director Debbie Byrne. "Our fans and alumni around the country and internationally can now follow our teams every step of the way, without ever leaving the comfort of their home or office." To subscribe to Monarch All Access, fans must register at www.odusports.com, and select either the monthly or annual membership. A portion of the membership assists the Old Dominion University athletic program. Audiocasting will begin with the Monarchs season opener at the Paradise Jam tournament on Friday, Nov. 18 when they take on Georgia at 6 pm. The first video-cast game will be Sunday, Nov. 20 when the Lady Monarchs take on national power Duke at 2 p.m.
