ODU heads to Maryland for a pair of events this weekend

Career

2011-12: Won the Top 9 Regatta A Division Race with Julia Wiesner... Placed eighth with Gavin Rudolph in the Navy Fall B Division Race, 11^th with Alexa Cavalieri in the Rose Bowl Regatta 2012 A Division Race, 11^th with Emily Reich in the Nevins Trophy B Division Race and 16^th with Brady Stagg in the Danmark Trophy B Division Race... Placed 10^th in the B Division of the Thompson Trophy with Julia Wiesner in the spring.

2010-11: Sailed with Jessica Milligan and Dillon Paiva to a seventh-place finish in the B-Division at the War Memorial Regatta... Competed for ODU at the USC Rose Bowl and claimed eighth-place in the B-Division sailing along side Emily Reich... Also sailed in the Atlantic Coast Dinghies, St. Mary's Fall, Navy Fall and Sherman Hoyt Regattas.

Prep: Played volleyball for four years and basketball for two at San Pasqual High School.

Personal: Born June 21, 1992... Son of Richard and Jamie Hoffmann... Twin brother, Evan, is also on the ODU Sailing team... Spent the summer sailing, mountain biking, surfing and wind surfing... Favorite type of food is Mexican... Plays the ukulele and the bass guitar... Favorite move is Invictus.
