Career
2012-2013: Opened up the fall season with a fourth place finish in the A Division of the Riley Cup while coupled with Haley Garst... Individually, took 13th in the MAISA Laser #2.
2011-12: Took third with Jaclyn Hollander in the MAISA Open B Division Race and seventh with Alexa Cavalieri in the Riley Cup B Division Race... Came in second with Jaclyn Hollander in the B Division of the ODU Spring Open... Placed first in the B Division of the MAISA Spring Open with Alexa Cavalieri.
Prep: Sailed as a skipper at Kecoughtan High School in Hampton, Va... Team captain in junior and senior seasons... Received the Clyde W. Winters Award for excellence in junior sailing from the Hampton Yacht Club in 2009.
Personal: Born July 14, 1993... Son of Tim and LuAnn Spracher... Favorite movie is Anchorman... Favorite food is crab legs, burritos and omelets... Enjoys playing keyboard in a band and writing and producing his own music... Competed in summer sailing regattas and coached sailing at the Hampton Yacht Club before attending ODU... Majoring in electrical engineering.
