The Old Dominion women's sailing team finished in fourth place in the first event of the semester at the Charleston Spring Women's regatta. The hosts, College of Charleston took the win with 58 points.

Racing was haulted after 16 events on Sunday due to a lack of wind.

The Lady Monarchs totaled 69 points in the two-division event. Corrie Clement and Amy Bourne commanded the B division to fourth with 34 points, while Debbie Capozzi and Maureen Castruccio took third with 35 points.

Georgetown and South Florida round out the top three with 63 and 67 points respectively. The regatta will conclude on Sunday.
