Monarchs Finish 10th at Co-Ed Spring Intersectional

CHARLESTON, S.C. -- The Monarchs sailing team finished in 10th place at the College of Charleston Spring Inviational last weekend. The B division boat skippered by Kyle Rogachenko and crewed by Alissa Ayres and Bryan Otis finished in the top five in eight of the 15 races. Team racing begins next weekend with the Bob Bavier Team Race in Charleston, SC and the Tom Noble Team Race in Chestertown, MD. Rogachenko and Ayres proved the best combo winning the first two races and finishing second and fifth in the first four races of B division. Otis and Rogachenko also finished second twice and added five more top ten finishes. The B division boat came in 8th with 105 points. The A division boat skippered by Michael Brown was crewed by Ashley Brusso and Ryan Kozoriz. The boat finished in 13th with 192 points and give top ten finishes. The two boats combined for 297 points, good for 10th place at the Intersectional. Charleston Spring Coed Intersectional
