The Old Dominion sailing team is currently in third place after one day of competition in the Old Dominion Spring Open. Navy is in first with 39 points.

The ODU coed squad has tallied 54 points as the A division team of Charles Higgins and Ashley Marriner has a division-best 24 points. Georgetown holds second with 53 points after 11 races of the event.

The 15-team regatta will conclude on Sunday.
