The St. Mary's College sailing team finished first in the annual Aaron Szambecki Team Race Intersectional hosted by Old Dominion University this weekend. The Monarchs took eighth in the two-day regatta held at the ODU Sailing Center.

St. Mary's tallied a 14-3 record in the eight-team event. ODU was 2-12 while Georgetown, 11-6, and the University of Southern California, 9-8, rounded out the top three.
