NORFOLK, VA -- The Monarchs continued to struggle in team racing as they hosted the Aaron Szambecki Team Race this weekend. Old Dominion went 2-15 at the regatta and finished in 8th place. Winning the regatta was Hobart & William Smith with a 14-3 record. Boston College also finished with a 14-3 record, but Hobart won the head-to-head matchup to take first place.

ODU defeated King's Point in the second round and then toppled South Florida in the consolation bracket.

Saturday

50 Races completed. Races were sailed in FJ's around digital N course. Breeze was 5-12 out of the N, NE, and ENE. Thank you to our team of umpires for their on the water calls and judging.

Sunday:

Finished the 2nd round robin in the morning, then sailed the Championship and Consellation round in N breeze 7-15. The consellation group used FJ's and 420's.
