King's Point, NY-The ODU sailing team finished second today at the MAISA Team Race Championships, qualifying for the ICSA Team Race Championship in Honolulu, HI later this spring.

Sailing for the Monarchs were Ryan Thorvaldsen, Brad Funk, Matt Allen, Lis Biondi, Debbie Capozzi, Jack Kerr, Anna Cobb and Megan Bartley.

Georgetown, which won the team race with a 12-1 record, will advance to the national championship along with Old Dominion.
