Monarchs Ninth After First Day of Admiral's Cup

KING'S POINT, NY -The Old Dominion sailing team is currently ninth out of 17 teams after the first day of the Admiral's Cup, held off the waters of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, with 353 points in the three-division event. The team of Jack Kerr (Redmond, WA), Cara Gibbons-Neff (Annapolis, MD) and Wade Schon (Millington, NJ) is currently 12th in A division with 140 points, while Charles Higgins (Arlington, TX), Maureen Castruccio (Pleasanton, CA) and Federico de la Puente Gomez (Spain) are seventh in B division with 107 points.
