NORFOLK, VA -The Old Dominion University women's sailing team, ranked 5th in the latest Sailing World rankings, qualified for the ICSA Women's Championship, held at Cascade Locks, OR in late May, by winning the MAISA Women's Open, with 48 points. The top four teams at the MAISA Women's Open, held at the ODU Sailing Center, qualified for the ICSA Women's Championships. Anna Tunnicliffe (Perrysburg, OH) and Christabelle Fernandez (Virginia Beach, VA) took first in A division with 16 points, while the team of Maureen Castruccio (Pleasanton, CA), Cara Gibbons-Neff (Annapolis, MD) and Cara DiSanti (Seacliff, NY) combined for a third place finish in B division, with 32 points.
