Monarch Sailing Fifth After First Day of The America Trophy

GENEVA, NY -The Old Dominion University sailing team is currently in 5th place after the first day of The America Trophy, hosted by Hobart and William Smith in Geneva, NY, with 95 points. The top three teams will qualify for the ICSA Dinghy Championships at Cascade Locks, OR, June 2-4. Jack Kerr (Redmond, WA), Cara Gibbons-Neff (Annapolis, MD) and Wade Schon (Millington, NJ) are currently seventh in A division with 60 points, while the B division team of Anna Tunnicliffe (Perrysburg, OH), Christabelle Fernandez (Virginia Beach, VA) and Michael Smith (Newport News, VA) are third with 35 points.
