AUSTIN, TX--The Old Dominion women's sailing squad picked up a first place in four races and are in ninth place with 38 points at the ICSA (Intercollegiate Sailing Association) North American National Championships held at the Austin Yacht Club on Lake Travis. College of Charleston and Harvard led with 14 points each. Racing was slowed because of the lack of wind.

ODU's A divison boat sailed by Anna Tunnicliffe and Emily Bartlett picked up a first Place and a 13th spot for 14 points. The B division boat sailed by Jennifer Adams and Maureen Castruccio combined for 24 points in their two races.

College of Charleston had nine points in A Division and picked up five with a fourth And a first in B Division. Harvard had the best A Division total of eight points after Two races, while Stanford led B Division with three points. Racing resumes on Thursday.
