ANNAPOLIS, MD-- Junior skipper Bobby Noonan (Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.) took third at the Laser South Regatta and qualified for the MAISA Singlehandeds, Oct. 7-8.

ODU also took fourth at the St. Mary's Open and qualified for the War Memorial, Oct. 28-29 at Kings Point (NY.). ODU's A division boat of Mike Brown and Jenica Ryan were sixth with 92 points, while the B divison boat Michalis Eleftheriou and Wick Smith were fifth with 97 points.

Noonan compiled 64 points in 14 races. He had two firsts and two seconds in the regatta.
