WASHINGTON, D.C. - Gillen Elder (Norfolk, VA) and Lisa Shapiro (Reston, VA) teamed up to place seventh in A division with 44 points at the Tom Curtis Memorial Regatta this weekend. Mike Smith (Newport News, VA) and Elyssa Albert (Purcellville, VA) paired up to finish sixth in B division with 48 points, giving ODU a sixth place overall finish with a total of 92 points.

Saturday six races were held in Washington Sailing Marina Lagoon with light southeast winds 3-8 mph. Sunday A division races where held in the morning with 5 mph southeast winds, but the wind died completely before the B division could run a race. All races were called at 2:30pm.

Georgetown took first place at the event with 23 points.
