NORFOLK, VA -The Old Dominion University sailing team won't have far to travel this weekend as the Monarchs compete in two local regattas. The Monarchs are hosting the Szambecki Team Race at the ODU Sailing Center, and will travel to Hampton for the MAISA/SAISA Intersectional.

The teams sailing for ODU at the Szambecki Team Race will be Jack Kerr (Redmond, WA) and Cara Gibbons-Neff (Annapolis, MD); Bill Berg (Longwood, FL) and Vincent Fontimayor (Virginia Beach, VA); and Anna Tunnicliffe (Perrysburg, OH) and Christabelle Fernandez (Virginia Beach, VA).

Sailing in the MAISA/SAISA Intersectional will be Maureen Castruccio (Pleasanton, CA) and Stefanie Dyer (Virginia Beach, VA) in A division, while Cara DiSanti (Seacliff, NY) and Ryan Kozoriz (Yorktown, VA) will sail in B division.

This weekend marks the first of two consecutive home regattas for the Monarchs, with ODU hosting the Big Blue Team Race Scrimmage April 3-4.
