Geneva, NY-The Old Dominion women's sailing squad took third place at the MAISA Women's Championship over the weekend, qualifying for the ICSA National Championship in Hawaii May 28-30.

The team of Sally Barkow and Cara Gibbons-Neff placed third in A division and Corrie Clement and Liz Bower were second in B division.

The Monarchs have now qualified for the two of three national championships to be held in Hawaii this spring. The final qualifier, for the Dinghy championship, will be held next weekend in Bronx, NY as New York Maritime hosts the America Trophy.
