ST. MARY'S, MD. (May 31) - Old Dominion sophomore skipper Sally Barkow (Nashotah, WI) earned Collegiate Sailing Honorable Mention All-America on May 30 after helping guide the Lady Monarchs to a seventh-place finish at the ICYRA North American Championships. Barkow, the team MVP, skippered the Lady Monarchs through the first six races of the championship event before retiring due to an injury.

Barkow capped off a solid spring season that included a second-place finish in the MAISA Women?s Championships. Sailing along with crew Alison Calderbank, Barkow guided the seventh-ranked Lady Monarchs to five top-ten finishes in the spring season.
