Old Dominion senior sailor Liz Bower (Fairport, NY) earned All-American Crew honors on Tuesday as announced by the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) and Ronstan. This marks the second time Bower has received this honor after winning last season as a junior.

Bower joins teammates Corrie Clement (Metarie, LA), Anna Tunnicliffe (Perrysburg, OH) and Debbie Capozzi (Bayport, NY) who were named All-Americans last week.

The senior helped lead the Lady Monarchs to a win at the Navy Women's Intersectional in March. Bower also helped the squad finish second at the Women's Dinghy District Championship and third at the Women's District Championship.

As a junior, Bower won the ICSA Women's North American Championship and teamed with Clement this season to guide the team to third. Clement and Bower finished second in the B division of this season's Championship.

ODU sailing has won 13 North American Championships and has had student-athletes earn 86 All-American honors.
