QINGDAO, CHINA -- Sally Barkow ('02-Nashotah, Wisc.) and Debbie Capozzi ('03-Bayport, N.Y.) sat patiently on the sidelines as the wind failed to co-operate for a third straight day and saw the most significant race of their careers postponed until Sunday. Their medal race for the Yngling team was postponed for Sunday at 2:00 pm. The other two former Monarchs took to the water for one race each, as Anna Tunnicliffe ('05-Plantation, Fla.) slipped from the lead with a 6th place finish and Charlie Ogletree ('89-Kemah, Texas) sailed two races in the Tornado class.

Tunnicliffe, the No. 1 world ranked singlehanded female sailor, slipped to third place overall in her event on Saturday, with another 6th place finish. After five races, the teams start excluding their worst scores, vaulting New Zealand's Jo Aleh to the top of the standings with 10 net points. Tunnicliffe is in third with 20 net points. The Laser Radial class has two days to fit in five races, with the Medal Race scheduled for Tuesday.

In Tornado racing, Ogletree and his teammate John Lovell improved after a poor first race with a 12th and 7th place effort. They slid up the leaderboard to 13th overall with 33 points and seven more races to go.
