New London, CT (Oct. 1) - The third-ranked Old Dominion coed sailing squad finished eighth out of 18 teams at the Danmark Trophy on Oct. 1. Harvard won the event with 287 points while the Monarchs finished with 466. The A division boat of Matt Allen and Emily Ruiter finished 8th, while the B boat of Jack Kerr and Abigail Curran finished 13th. Brad Funk, who will compete next weekend in the MAISA Men's Singlehanded Championships, finished 1st in the C division.

The Monarch coed team will return to action at the Navy Fall Intersectional, October 14-15 at Annapolis, MD.
