2012 ODU Sailapalooza Flyer
NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion University sailing team is hosting a “Sailapalooza” event on Friday, Oct. 12 from noon until sunset at the ODU Sailing Center to help raise awareness for Operation Smile.
The team will be giving introductory sailing lessons and sailboat rides to the public for free. ODU is looking for donations to support Operation Smile, a non-profit organization in Norfolk that repairs childhood facial deformities and are advocates for sustainable healthcare systems for children and families.
Donations can includes financial contributions, toiletry size shampoo, combs, wash clothes, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, small stuffed animals, crayons, coloring books and mirrors.
