CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - ODU junior sailor Morgan Wilson sits in fifth and senior Katrina Williams is in eighth after two days of competition at the ICSA Singlehanded National Championship. Only two races remain during the final day of competition.

Anne Haeger of Boston College leads the field with 53 total points. Wilson has 90 points and Williams has 128.

Wilson was having a steady day two until placing 11th in her final race, dropping her back a position. In her 16 races thus far, she has 10 top-five finishes, including a win in the 10th race. If not for four finishes out of the Top-10, the junior could be in serious contention. With two races remaining though, there is still plenty of opportunity for Wilson to move up the standings.

Williams sailed a handful of excellent races on day two, placing first in the ninth race, third in the 11th and second on Saturday's final race. In total, the senior has 11 top-10 finishes, but a slow day one start has her sitting in eighth position overall.

The entire 18-person field will conclude competition tomorrow with two crucial races.
