Senior Day 2012 - Six Monarch & Lady Monarch Swimmers & Divers Honored Prior To Meet With Towson
2010-2011:
Member of the 200 medley relay squad at the 2011 CAA Championships that placed fourth with an NCAA "B" cut time and ODU record of 1:41.99...Helped to reset the previous mark of 1:42.12 set in 2009...Also swam with the 800 free relay team that placed seventh with a time of 7:34.30...
2009-10: Member of the record setting 200 and 400 medley relay teams...Joined teammates April Barrientos, Erla Haraldsdottir, and Agata Nowak in earning All-CAA honors in the medley relay events...The 200 medley saw the Lady Monarchs post not only a NCAA "B" cut time by hitting the wall in a time of 1:42.19, but also collect the second fastest time in the Lady Monarch record books...Placed second in the 200 medley relay at conference championships... The 400 medley relay had the squad put together a third place finish with a time of 3:43.41 for a new ODU record...
2008-09: Swam to the eighth best time in school history in the 50 free with a time of 24.40...Also picked up the sixth best time in the 100 free in Lady Monarch history with a time of 52.42...Member of the 400 free relay team that swam its way to the best time in ODU history with a time of 3:28.88, anchoring the event...Also a member of the 800 free relay squad that posted the fastest time in school history with a 7:31.42.
PREP: Named an all-league swimmer for three straight seasons (2005-07)...Named MVP in 2007...Holds the school record in the 50, 100, and 200 free, as well as the 100 back...Also played two seasons of softball...
PERSONAL: Born July 25, 1990...Daughter of Joseph and Debra Forbes...Has one brother, Colin Forbes...Majoring in biology.
