Arni Mar Arnason Picks Up Second CAA Weekly Honor
RICHMOND, Va. -- Swimming and diving's Arni Mar Arnason (Msfellsbaer, Iceland) earned his second Colonial Athetic Association (CAA) Swimmer of the Week honor after helping the Monarchs last week to a pair of victories over Drexel (234-119) and William & Mary (204-149). Arnason, a member of the 2008 Icelandic Olympic Team, collected three individual and two relay wins taking home victories in the 100 breast, 200 breast and 50 freestyle, as well as with the 200 and 400 medley relay squads. He broke the Old Dominion school records in both the 100 and 200 breast.
