Danielle Naylor Named CAA Women's Swimmer of the Week

NORFOLK, Va. -- Old Dominion junior Danielle Naylor (Swinton, England) was named the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Women's Swimmer of the Week after leading the Lady Monarchs to victory over George Washington in the distance freestyle events. Naylor, who was one of three Lady Monarch swimmers to win a pair of individual events in ODU's 140-119 win over the Colonials last weekend, paced the team in the distance events with top times in the 500 freestyle (5:04.76) and 1000 freestyle (10:24.27). Her 1000 free time was her fastest in the event this season. The ODU swimming & diving teams will return to action during their winter training trip in Fort Myers, Florida in late December/early January.
