2008: Recipient of the Howard/Wilkins Male Scholar Athlete of the Year Award as he graduated with a 3.51 GPA. Tossed a combined shutout vs. Temple... Fanned eight vs. Northeastern (ties career high)...Led CAA with five complete games...All complete games were against CAA teams...team best ERA at 3.57...Co-led team with 19 appearances...CAA Pitcher of the Week on March 31...ERA ranks fourth in CAA... 2007: Ranked second on the team with 18 appearances, including 14 starts... finished with a record of 5-6 with an ERA of 4.84... registered 63 strikeouts and a combined shutout in 89.1 innings of work... went at least six innings in eight of his 14 starts... earned his first victory at ODU on Feb. 11 versus Maryland-Eastern Shore when he allowed just four hits and one earned run while striking out eight in six innings on the mound... fanned a season-high eight batters vs. Maryland-Eastern Shore (Feb. 11) and Iona (Mar. 3)... threw 7.2 scoreless innings and struck out three batters to team with Ross Fetterly for a combined shutout win over UNCW (Mar. 25)... allowed five hits, no earned runs and struck out six in eight innings against Georgia State (May 13) to led ODU to a 3-2 win.
