A teammate of ODU signee Jordan Negrini for 13th ranked Yavapai Junior College in Arizona, Urps hit .283 with two homers, 23 RBI, 37 runs scored and 10 stolen bases. Urps helped lead the Roughriders to a 40-20 record and their 13th ACCAC title.
